Catherine Main's story (from FB Apr '21):

OMG -Am loving hearing how everyone is doing and seeing all the pics! Brilliant idea - well done Hazel 💕
So I guess it’s my turn now....
Was Catherine Tully at uni - was quite quiet & shy then.....wouldn’t be surprised if people didn’t remember me LOL!
Not much has changed but am a wee bit more adventurous now 😊
Still a big tennis fan, but also love travelling and walking / trekking.
Been lucky enough to visit some absolutely amazing places with my hubby John (who I only married three years ago!)
Other than a few years in England, I’ve pretty much been a pharmacist in Glasgow most of my career. I’ve had quite a few different & interesting jobs in both hospital & primary care. Now happily working as a prescribing support pharmacist, but kinda looking forward to the day I can retire & start my second childhood!!!

Colin Towers' story (from FB April '21):

Now I'm not one for Facebook but have just enjoyed the last hour catching up on all the news. Thanks for setting this group up - I'll be checking in regularly.
I'm probably the Benjamin Button of the year. Lasted six weeks before jacking my pre-reg, then got a job in industry as an analytical chemist, going on to specialise in mass spec - which I was always rotten at in uni. Did industry for 17 years, lectured in forensics (analytical toxicology) for 3 years then went back and did my pre-reg in 2009. Had to sit the awful pre-reg exam - that'll serve me right for leaving it so long! Worked at Apple Pharmacy in Craigend for 3 years, then back into industry as an analytical consultant, where I'm still at.
Equally Benjamin Button on the family side of things, meeting Heather 9 years ago and becoming a dad for the first time a couple of years ago to wee Iona. Yes, I get mistaken for being her grandad all the time, but I don't care.
Still playing squash, guitar (occasionally with my dear old pal Ricky Kemp - who was much more involved in the pharmacy social scene than I ever was) and cycling. I'm still guilty of picking arcane routes between buildings.
Be great to hear from anyone/everyone who wants to get in touch.

Iona and her dad (not grandad), Colin Towers
